if so was it a good location for downtown and is it nice or stuckup?

I'm not sure about the omni but when we went we stayed at The Royal Sonesta and we really liked it a lot...I remember thinking we lucked out when we chose to stay there because when we actually were there walking around and looking at the outside of some of the hotels...well,they just didn't seem the same as how they were portrayed on the net.
  3. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is in a fabulous location in the middle of the French Quarter. It is extremely nice and not "stuck up". The hotel also has a roof-top pool & bar, which is great during the summer. http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel/NewOrleansRoyalOrleans.aspx

YES IT IS A GREAT HOTEL - GOOD LOCATION DOWNTOWN - PRETTY FANCY TOO I ALSO LOVE THE ROYAL ORLEANS AND THE ROYAL SONESTA HOTEL THEY'RE NOT " STUCK UP" - THEY ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL FINE QUALITY HOTELS WITH A GREAT FRIENDLY STAFF AND A GREAT LOCATION - NEAR/IN THE FRENCH QUARTER,. NEW ORLEANS IS THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD!!! ( YES, EVEN AFTER KATRINA) YOU WILL LOVE THE FOOD, THE MUSIC , AND THE PEOPLE. BE SURE TO TAKE A RIVERBOAT CRUISE DOWN THE MISSISSIPPI - YOU CAN WALK TO THE DOCK AT THE END OF CANAL STREET FROM ANY OF THESE HOTELS. IT WILL BE REALLY HOT IF YOU GO IN THE SUMMER - WAIT TIL FALL IF YOU CAN - BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS!!!! AND GO TO THE INCREDIBLE "AQUARIUM OF THE AMERICAS" RIGHT NEAR THERE ( IMAX THEATER RIGHT NEXT DOOR TOO) - RIGHT ON THE RIVER! HAVE FUN!

  6. I've stayed there on many occasions, and let me tell you, it's great. It is in a great location, and the rooms look nice. I would recommend staying there.
  7. It is awesome. I went to a wedding there, and the wedding party was given a room to dress in, etc. The reception was unbelievable. We didn't spend the night, but friends did, and we went to the rooms. Lovely. Clean. Really nice. Friendly.
