How to I get from the New Orleans greyhound bus station to the Louis Armstrong international airport?
is there a way to get there using public transportation? Thank you!

- There is not public transportation directly between the Greyhound station and the airport. There should be rapid public transit between the city center & the airport - but the taxi drivers go crazy every time it is proposed and lobby City Hall to prevent it from being implemented. http://www.norta.com/ You can take a bus from the Greyhound station (1001 Loyola Avenue) to Elks Place & Tulane. It is about 9 blocks, and Elk's Place is just the name for the block of Loyola Avenue where it intersects Canal Street. On weekdays the airport bus stop is in the city center at Elk's Place & Tulane Avenue (about 9 blocks from the Greyhound Station). On weekends, the airport bus stop is outside the city center at the intersection of Tulane Avenue and S. Carrollton Avenue. You take the Tulane Avenue bus from Elk's Place and Tulane to Tulane & S. Carrollton. http://www.norta.com/routes/timetables/system.pdf It may be more convenient to take a taxi to the stop for the airport bus, but that's up to you. http://www.flymsy.com/
