Is there a hotel in New orleans that offers free shuttle and parking service to the cruise port?

  1. Go to www. parksleepfly.com I always use this site for finding just such a hotel.
  2. Not sure, but you know, its actually walkable.
  3. I don't know of any hotels that offer a shuttle to the cruise ship dock, nor any that will let you leave your car at the hotel for free while away on the cruise. You may wnat to ask the cruise line. The cruise ship dock is quite a long walk from even the closest hotel. There are two hotels I know of downtown that offer free parking for guests: Hotel Le Richelieu has on-site parking: http://www.lerichelieuhotel.com/ Hotel Villa Convento has off-site parking: http://www.villaconvento.com/ Check the travel sites like Expedia & Orbitz for more choices, and http://www.frenchquarterhotels.com/ lists more non-chain hotels in the French Quarter. If you are going on a short cruise (2 or 3 nights) you are probably better off just paying for parking at the dock. The least expensive parking downtown is at the AmTrak/Greyhound Station (1001 Loyola Avenue). It is $4 per 24 hours and the lot has a 24/7 human attendant. The station is a medium-short taxi ride from the cruise ship dock and you do not have to be an AmTrak or Greyhound customer to park there. There are lots of taxicabs and a good company is: http://www.unitedcabs.com/
