How far is Avalon Hotel New Orleans, from Memorial Convention Center?

1. it's in New Orleans East about 8 miles from the city just be aware of rush hour traffic and leave plenty of time.
2. The Avalon Hotel isn't that far from the Convention Center. They are both about ten or so miles away from each another. Good thing is, the commute is mostly I-10 driving. I do agree with the first answerer though. Depending on what time you need to be there determines on what time you need to leave. Traffic on I-10, especially I-10W [of which you will have to take in order to get there], can get very heavy during peak hours. It can either take you as little as 15 minutes to an hour to get there depending on traffic, so keep that in mind!
