What's the best affordable hotel to stay at in New Orleans near House of Blues?

I want a place within walking distance of the House of Blues, best price, safe, parking on-site is preferable. I'd like to stay at a place like Chateau Sonesta or Hotel Montelione, but I'd sacrifice that niceness for affordable comfort. $100/nite would be more my budget. I'll be there January 13-15th. Thanks for your help.

1. La Pavillion on Poydras.....Lots of history Beautiful Building and lobby....
2. Right now you can probably stay anywhere in the Quarter for about $100/night. Also try the Prince Conti and other small hotels like that.
