How old do you have to be to check into a hotel in New Orleans?

my cousin is trying to fly her boyfriend down for christmas and he is 18 but we have no idea if he can check in...does anybody know???

1. yes at 18 you can, but you need an ID.
2. You have too check with the specific hotels. Some require 18 and others require 21. It seems to depend on if the hotel has mini-bars with alcohol in the rooms. Several of the Holiday Inn hotels only require 18: www.priorityclub.com Also check www.frenchquarterhotels.com and www.villaconvento.com
3. It depends on the hotel. Some require you to be at least 18, others 21. I would contact your hotel and ask their requirements. They require a valid ID and credit card though upon check-in (even if payed in advance or with cash they need a credit card on file).
4. Long as he have an ID it shouldn't be a problem plus money talks new orleans biusnesses needs the money.
