Would you please check my English? Sunday, August 30th, 2009 Typhoon is coming soon. Maybe it is going to land on the Tokyo area tomorrow morning. I always remember the miserable calamity which occurred in New Orleans when typhoon comes. I was in New Orleans on the year before the Hurricane Katrina directly hit there. Actually, a big hurricane hit the city on the year as well and I was just in there at the time. We not only couldn't flight due to closing the New Orleans International Airport, but even couldn't stay at our hotel due to flee recommendation, the one way which we could select, was heading for the Jackson International Airport which is about 200 miles away by taxi. We escaped from New Orleans going through the only and very long bridge which across the lake Pontchartrain. The traffic on the bridge named Cause way, was so jammed that we couldn't move on it for hours. But at last, there was few damage as being disappointed than predicted. I wonder the thing at the time made people to be off guard at the Hurricane Katrina on next year. Last sentence seems weird. I think the slight damage and people's confusion on the previous year made people unguarded on the next year. This is one of my diary. I entry my diary everyday and have it checked by native speakers to improve my English. Thank you.

Questions about New Orleans....? I'm doing a project on New Orleans, and had a little difficulty finding the answers to these questions: Does NO have an international airport? How cold does it usually get in the winters? Aside from hurricanes, does it rain much there? Is it humid there? If so, which season(s) are particularly bad? Are there a lot of bugs? I know some major cities (like Chicago) are very difficult to drive into (lots of traffic jams, etc). Is New Orleans like this? Is it easy to leave/enter the city on highways? What is the cheapest possible way to get a plane ticket from Kiev to New Orleans? Flight should be on or around June 4th and returning on or around August 13th. Arriving at WDW Dec 31st and I might have a problem...? Me and my wife planned to spend new years eve at Disney World. Our flight gets into Orlando International Airport at 3:30pm on Dec 31st. I have no idea what time I might get to my resort, which is Port Orleans Riverside. We really really want to spend new years eve in Magic Kingdom and we have dinner reservations at 7:30pm in the park. Here is the problem, most people I talk to say there is no chance they will let us in the park as it will be full. In fact I heard that we won't get into any park. My question is this: What time would we get to the front gate of Magic Kingdom if our flight gets in at 3:30, we are taking the magic express into the resort, then catching the bus over to magic kingdom? Do we even stand a change? Do we get any sort of preference because we are staying at the resort for 2 weeks? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, I will be really disappointed if we are stuck in the hotel room on new years eve.

Taking laptop to Disney World via airplane? I have decided to bring my laptop with me on my trip to disney in florida. i am leaving pittsburgh international airport and landing in orlando's airport. i need to know how much longer it takes to bring it through security than it would to not bring it at all and what kinds of procedures they do to check laptops (i've heard of many different procedures and im not sure which one to believe). also, I need to know how i can get internet connection at disney's resort "Port Orleans: Riverside". i have read that there is a port in the room that requires an ethernet cable or something? im really unsure. so i need to know what supplies i will need to get internet connection while staying there. if you could answer both of these questions, it would be greatly appreciated. additional info: my laptop is a Dell Vostro 1500. i am traveling on southwest airlines.
